We manufacture polypropylene and polyethylene bags in 6th of October City, for flour mills, sugar producers, feed plants, cement and fertilizer companies.
Who we are
United Company for Packaging Production was established in 1996 under Ministerial Decree No. (114) of 1996, to produce and trade polypropylene and polyethylene packaging.
We operate from our plant in the Fourth Industrial Zone, 6th of October City, and apply the 5S method for visual management and production floor organisation.

How we manufacture
From polypropylene granules to the finished bag, inside our own plant.
Extrusion
Polypropylene granules are melted and formed into fine threads
Weaving
Threads are woven on circular looms into flat or tubular fabric
Lamination
A lamination layer is added where extra moisture resistance is needed

Fabric is cut to size and made up into finished bags

Four families: woven bags, leno (mesh) bags, lamination bags and jumbo bags (FIBC). All are made from polypropylene and polyethylene, and are also referred to as PP woven sacks.
Our standard is 56 x 102 cm at 140 g, the size normally used for packing 25 and 50 kg, with lamination available on request. Other sizes and weights are made to order.
500 to 2,500 kg. They are flexible intermediate bulk containers in high-strength woven polypropylene, used for cement, lime, phosphate and calcium carbonate.
Woven bags. Where extra protection against moisture or leakage is needed, a lamination layer is added.
Leno mesh bags, normally used for packing 5 – 25 kg. They allow airflow and show the contents without opening the bag, and are used for onions, garlic and vegetables.
Lamination bags for standard packing — typically 25 and 50 kg — because they protect against moisture and dirt, and jumbo bags where the material moves in bulk.

We hold EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 from EUROCERT, and ISO 22000:2018 from Guardian Independent Certification for Category I food packaging, scoped to the production and printing of polypropylene bags. Our samples also passed an overall migration test at the National Research Centre at 4.8 mg/dm2 against a 10 mg/dm2 limit.
